Aloha kākou! This was a quiet, hands-on week in the Kailua-Kona studio — three new handmade pieces, all of them jewelry, all of them gathered and assembled right here on the Big Island. No big tee drop this time; instead we spent the week on the beach and at the bench, which is honestly our favorite kind of week.
Lauhala & Handmade Jewelry
Every piece below starts with something found — puka shells picked up along the Kona shoreline, natural lauhala from our own hands. They're then wrapped in 14kt gold fill and stainless steel so they hold up to island living. Each is one-of-a-kind and made in very small numbers, so when they're gone, they're gone.
Lokelani Lauhala Necklace — an 18-inch necklace pairing a pink pearl with natural lauhala, named for the rose of Maui.
Hebrew and Pearl Necklace — hand-picked pearls set in 14kt gold fill with stainless steel.
Puka Shell Earrings — Kona-gathered puka shells with a gold-wrapped pink pearl, 100% handmade with plenty of aloha.
