Kauai Na Pali Coast — Hawaiian T-Shirt
Seventeen miles of fluted green cliffs plunging into the blue Pacific — the Na Pali Coast is the most dramatic coastline on Earth.
The Story Behind Kauai Na Pali Coast
The Na Pali Coast on Kaua'i's north shore is a place that defies description and rewards every attempt to reach it. Its cathedral-like cliffs — some rising 4,000 feet straight from the sea — are carved by millions of years of wind and rain into fluted, emerald-green ridges that plunge dramatically into surf-pounded sea caves and crescent beaches accessible only by boat, kayak, or the legendary Kalalau Trail. It is one of the most photographed, most painted, and most written-about landscapes in all of Hawai'i.
The valley of Kalalau at the Na Pali's heart was once home to thriving Hawaiian communities who farmed taro in the valley floor, fished the rocky coastline, and built heiau (sacred platforms) on the ridgelines. Today only the wild remains — nai'a (dolphins) surfing the bow waves of tour boats, white tropicbirds soaring the updrafts, and the eternal rhythm of waves against ancient lava. This shirt carries a piece of that breathtaking coast wherever you wear it.
