Blue Hawaii Island Paradise | Hawaii T-Shirt | Blue Hawaiian Island Paradise Chill Aloha Tee
Blue Hawai'i Island Paradise — the color is the thing. That improbable turquoise that you see in the cocktail glass, the shallow water off Lanikai, the postcard rack at the airport. Once you've seen it, you can't unsee it.
The Blue Hawai'i cocktail was created in 1957 by bartender Harry Yee at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikīkī, who was asked to feature a new product called blue curaçao. He poured it together with rum, pineapple, and sweet-and-sour, and the rest was tiki history. When Elvis Presley made the movie of the same name in 1961, the phrase "Blue Hawai'i" became permanent shorthand for the whole mid-century island fantasy — pool decks, hibiscus print, Don Ho music drifting from a lobby radio.
For locals, this tee is the gentle smile at our most famous cocktail — corny, beloved, and forever ours. For visitors, it's the souvenir of that exact blue, condensation running down your wrist while the sun was making its slow lap toward the horizon.
Soft unisex tee. Multiple sizes and colorways available.
