Kona Coffee — Hawaiian T-Shirt

The world's most coveted cup grows right here on the volcanic slopes of the Big Island.

The Story Behind Kona Coffee

Kona coffee is grown in a narrow belt along the western slopes of Mauna Loa and Hualalai on the Big Island of Hawai'i — a region where rich volcanic soil, afternoon cloud cover, and mild temperatures create near-perfect growing conditions. The result is a smooth, low-acidity brew with a clean, bright finish that coffee lovers travel from around the globe to taste at the source.

More than a beverage, Kona coffee is a way of life for the farms and families of the district. The annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, one of the oldest food festivals in Hawai'i, celebrates the harvest each November with cupping competitions, farm tours, and a deep pride in a craft that has been perfected over generations.
