Mele Kalikimaka Christmas — Hawaiian T-Shirt

Ho'olaule'a season: where Christmas carols meet ocean breezes and plumeria lei.

The Story Behind Mele Kalikimaka Christmas

"Mele Kalikimaka" is the Hawaiian transliteration of "Merry Christmas," made famous by Bing Crosby's 1950 holiday classic and beloved ever since as the warmest possible Christmas greeting. In Hawai'i, the holidays arrive without snow but with no shortage of spirit — twinkling palm trees, Christmas lights strung over lānai, and the scent of pikake and plumeria in the warm December air.

Island Christmas is a uniquely beautiful thing: Santa trades his sleigh for a canoe, carolers sing in the balmy evening, and 'ohana gathers around tables heavy with poi, kalua pig, and haupia. This tee is the perfect way to spread that aloha holiday spirit wherever you celebrate.
