Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park is one of the rare places on Earth where you can walk safely across the floor of an active volcano. This tee honors the park and the akua it protects.

Established in 1916, the park covers more than 320,000 acres of Kīlauea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island. Kīlauea has been one of the most active volcanoes on the planet for decades, with major eruption phases in 1983–2018, 2020, 2021, and 2023. The park includes the summit caldera, the Chain of Craters Road that drops to the sea, the Thurston lava tube (Nāhuku), and Halema'uma'u — sacred home of Pele in Hawaiian tradition. Offerings are still placed at the rim.

For locals, the park is sacred ground, not scenery — Pele lives here, and respect is the requirement. For visitors, this shirt is the smell of sulfur, the heat at the rim, and the awe of walking inside a working volcano.

Soft unisex tee. Multiple sizes and colorways available.
